Job Summary
CT Technologist Location: Not Specified. This role involves assisting radiologists and physicians with high-quality computerized tomography (CT) imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The technician ensures patient safety, administers contrast, and performs general patient care within the department.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification, active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum 2 years of CT experience, ability to perform X-Ray procedures, fingerprinting during compliance, Toshiba CT Scanner experience preferred, candidates permanent address must be outside a 100-mile radius of the facility, no minimum experience requirement explicitly listed but at least 2 years of CT experience is required.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include performing CT studies following protocol, administering IV and oral contrast, providing radiation protection, and performing nursing duties such as obtaining vital signs and clinical history, assisting in sterile procedures, and monitoring patient reactions.
- Submission requirements: Work history skills checklist current within 1 year, two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years, active American Heart Association BLS, and active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
