Job Description
Plant Administrator
Location: Lancaster, PA | 12-Month Contract-to-Hire | 1st Shift
Our client, a global food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Plant Administrator to support daily administrative operations within a busy manufacturing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting HR initiatives, coordinating plant activities, and partnering with leadership to help create a positive employee experience.
This role will begin as a 12-month contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a direct-hire position.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day HR administrative processes and employee requests.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and other financial documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, plant communications, and employee events.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with employee onboarding activities and administrative support.
- Track production, safety, and operational data as needed.
- Provide administrative support to plant leadership and various departments.
- Assist with process improvements and identify opportunities to improve workflows.
- Support a positive, engaging, and collaborative workplace environment.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of administrative experience in an office, manufacturing, or corporate environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Excel
- Word
- Outlook
- PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting changing business needs.
Preferred Experience
- Human Resources administrative experience.
- Manufacturing or plant environment experience.
- Experience creating presentations, communications, or visual materials.
- Canva experience.
- Adobe experience.
