School Aide

Duration: 9+ Months

Duties:

Under the supervision of the principal or a teacher, the School Aide will assist with duties that do not require teaching or other professional skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring student bathrooms and hallways.
• Handling, storing, and distributing textbooks, instructional supplies, and special materials.
• Assisting in maintaining order in the lunchroom and facilitating lunch service.
• Maintaining school inventories.
• Receiving students in the lunchroom and directing them in washing hands, disposing of wrappers, and lining up for lunch service.
• Supervising and assisting students during entry, dismissal, lunch periods, and emergency drills.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by teachers or school administration.
