EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

Location: Sumter, SC
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Openings: 1
Regular Schedule: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, H Shift (3-2-2-3)
Training Schedule: G Shift (3-2-2-3)
Shift Pattern: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing technical services and supporting manufacturing operations, including mechanical equipment and technical processes. The position requires knowledge of basic engineering principles, mechanical tools, blueprints, schematics, and part drawings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to use Allen wrenches, torque wrenches, and socket wrenches.
• Two-year degree in applied technical sciences or equivalent from a vocational or technical college preferred/required based on qualifications.
• One year of experience in project management or a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and part drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Minitab, SAP, CAD, MS Project, and Visio preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be available to work overtime when requested due to business needs.
• Eye exam required on site.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required.
• Drug screening is not required.
• Candidate may begin the assignment while the background check is pending; all criminal background checks must be cleared before starting.

ASSIGNMENT NOTES

• Regular schedule is H Shift, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.
• Training will be conducted on G Shift.
• Both shifts follow the 3-2-2-3 schedule.
• Must be able to work the required rotating schedule and overtime as needed.
