TRAINING AND DESIGN CONSULTANT
 
Location; Bay Area, CA preferred; Southern California candidates may be considered
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Provide senior-level training and organizational development support on a fractional, case-by-case basis based on business needs and available budget.
• Design and develop practical employee training programs that address organizational priorities and real-world business challenges.
• Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs, leadership challenges, and employee development opportunities.
• Serve as a practical coach, advisor, and guide to senior leaders, providing actionable recommendations and support.
• Develop training and development solutions that can be effectively applied in a fast-paced, complex organizational environment.
• Think critically and adapt quickly to changing priorities, business needs, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate training and development initiatives for employees and senior-level audiences.
• Apply a hands-on, practical approach to learning and development rather than relying primarily on academic or theoretical methodologies.
• Work independently and effectively manage assignments that may vary in scope, duration, and frequency.

 
QUALIFICATIONS
 

• Significant experience in employee training, learning and development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and implementing training programs for organizations and diverse employee populations.
• Experience working directly with senior leadership and understanding the unique challenges and needs of executive-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a practical coach, consultant, or trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Strong ability to assess situations, think on your feet, and develop practical solutions in real time.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fractional or project-based consulting environment.
• Strong communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and quickly establish credibility with stakeholders.
• Practical, business-oriented approach to training and organizational development, with the ability to translate concepts into actionable solutions.
• Bay Area location preferred; candidates based in Southern California may also be considered.
