CNC O.D. Grinder Set-up/Operator

Join a busy aerospace machine shop as a CNC O.D. Grinder Set-up/Operator responsible for operating and setting up Studer equipment. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, including programming with Studer Picto-Gramming on a Fanuc control. The position offers flexible schedules, overtime, incentives, competitive compensation, and salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up Studer CNC grinders.
• Program equipment using Studer Picto-Gramming on a Fanuc control.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels, speeds, and feeds.
• Operate CNC O.D. grinding equipment.
• Use micrometers, comparators, lapping machines, and concentricity gauges for inspection.
• Work independently while maintaining reliable, detail-oriented performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CNC grinding.
• Experience operating Studer CNC grinders.
