A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician - Patient Support in Houston, TX. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week).
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: 100% remote - candidates must reside in Houston, TX area
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm CST
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Patient Support Pharmacy Technician will resolve issues, coordinate medication deliveries, collect copayments, and provide excellent customer service through inbound call support.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Call center environment - handling high volumes of mostly outbound calls daily. On phone for most of the day.
- 90% outbound phone calls to doctor and provider offices to verify information
- 10% inbound calls
- Coordinate prescription deliveries and process copayments
- Communicate effectively with physician offices and patients
- Triage calls to the appropriate departments when necessary
- Maintain accuracy and professionalism while handling sensitive patient information
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - PATIENT SUPPORT | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active TX state Pharmacy Technician license or registration with the Board of Pharmacy (required)
- PTCB certification preferred
- Prior pharmacy or healthcare call center experience a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
