A well-established high-volume quick-service restaurant organization is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee a group of approximately 5–6 locations across Chicago and the South Suburbs.

This is a hands-on multi-unit leadership position focused on developing General Managers, driving operational consistency, improving financial performance, and building strong, accountable teams across the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across 5–6 high-volume restaurant locations
• Lead, coach, and develop multiple General Managers
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold leadership teams accountable
• Analyze and manage P&L, sales, labor, food costs, and overall profitability
• Drive sales growth, operational efficiency, and consistent guest-service standards
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong restaurant management teams
• Conduct regular store visits, business reviews, and leadership coaching
• Ensure compliance with food safety, company standards, and operational procedures
• Partner with senior leadership on market strategy and business performance
• Maintain a strong presence across urban/city-store environments
• Travel regularly between locations throughout Chicago and the South Suburbs

Ideal Candidate

• Proven District Manager, Area Manager, Multi-Unit Manager, or comparable QSR leadership experience
• Experience directly overseeing multiple restaurants and General Managers
• Strong background in high-volume QSR operations
• Demonstrated P&L and financial-management experience
• Strong labor, food-cost, scheduling, and staffing knowledge
• Excellent coaching, leadership, and talent-development skills
• Results-driven with a strong operational mindset
• Comfortable working in urban and high-volume environments
• Able to travel consistently between locations
• Wendy’s experience strongly preferred, with comparable QSR multi-unit experience also considered

Compensation & Opportunity

$90,000–$100,000 base salary
