Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hr. based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Occasional Weekends: Weekend coverage may be required, with hours adjusted as needed
Experience: 1–2 years of pharmacy/inventory experience
License: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration/Certification required in the state of operation

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support inventory operations within a pharmacy fulfillment facility. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, supporting pharmacy ordering and receiving processes, processing returns, and ensuring compliance with inventory procedures and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will have pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Pharmacy Technician Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory processes, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Validate inventory accuracy and ensure on-hand quantities are properly maintained.
• Monitor inventory systems, reports, and applications to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive and scan incoming deliveries and take appropriate action on missing or inaccurate shipments.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and inventory transactions for products physically received.
• Process pharmacy recalls, vendor returns, damaged goods, salvage returns, and excess inventory.
• Support inter-store pharmacy transfers and returns when needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts.
• Support pharmacy ordering, including ordering expense items and monitoring manual orders for excess inventory.
• Maintain consigned inventory and order products as required.
• Manage consumable inventory and help maintain product availability.
• Complete inventory-related processes such as disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration.
• Ensure pull and quarantine items are properly updated and placed in designated holding areas.
• Assist with preparation for physical inventory and support inventory audits.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, invoices, receipts, and return authorizations.
• File claims for shortages, overages, order errors, damaged goods, and other inventory discrepancies.
• Help ensure inventory practices comply with applicable state and local regulations for regulated products.
• Educate and support team members on inventory procedures, systems, and best practices.
• Work closely with the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), Site Director, and senior leadership to maintain inventory standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pharmacy Technician Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy, pharmacy inventory, warehouse, or related experience.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration/certification as required by the state of operation.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately handle inventory records and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
