Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in  Pharr, TX.
 
Job Details: 
Schedule:  8 AM- 5 PM, Mon - Fri
Location:  Pharr, TX
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $21/hour to $23.40/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Perform quality-control checks on medical and diagnostic equipment.
• Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment using an autoclave.
• Room patients according to established policies and prepare them for provider examinations.
• Accurately document patient care, procedures, and relevant information in the medical record.
• Coordinate patient care and follow directions from physicians and established company policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and treat all patients with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

Requirements: 

• Education: High School
• Certification(s): CMA, BLS
• Years of experience: 1+ year
