Restaurant Crew Member

Overview: Join the team at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, where we serve up authentic, slow-smoked Texas BBQ with pride! As part of our Line Crew, you’ll help prepare and serve our delicious menu items, maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

Responsibilities: Build and serve BBQ plates, sandwiches, and sides with accuracy and care. Maintain food quality, freshness, and portion standards. Keep the serving line and prep areas clean and stocked. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Deliver friendly, professional service to every guest. Support catering sales and fulfillment.

Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining sanitation standards.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners.
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering roles within the food industry or grocery store environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is highly valued.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Experience with catering preferred, but not required.
• WA Food Handlers required. MAST preferred but not required.

Pay Rate: 17.50* (crew) - 18.00 (shift lead) + tips (historically $3/hr-$5/hr+).

* Raise from 17.13 to 17.50 automatically upon completion of training.
