CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT FOR MANHATTAN UPPER EAST SIDE DERMATOLOGY PRACTICE

Base Salary Range is $60K to $70K (based upon experience and candidate)

Cool Sculpting Experience or Exposure to it is a Decided Plus! Work with famous and very “high-end” clientele!

Full-time Certified Medical Assistant needed for busy Dermatology Office. The Medical Assistant will assist the Physician and Physician’s Assistant in providing quality care to patients, maintain and review medical records, assist with microdermabrasion, perform chemical peels, and assist with other responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required; Some College Associates or Bachelors preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification and One (1) Year Post Certificate Experience required.
• Two to Five (2-5) years of Experience required, with preference for background in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery.
• Experience or exposure to Cool Sculpting a decided plus; and Experience working with lasers is a plus.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Working knowledge of Dermatologic Surgery and Sterile Technique.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Must be Computer Literate.
• A positive, welcoming, and charismatic personality/demeanor.
• Experience working with VIP Clients.
