Automotive Appraiser

Duties
- Analyze and evaluate vehicle damage to determine the cost of repairs
- Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and identify necessary repairs
- Use computerized estimating systems to generate accurate repair estimates
- Review repair estimates and negotiate with insurance companies to ensure fair and reasonable pricing
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, policyholders, and repair shops to facilitate the claims process
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns related to vehicle repairs

Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems and components
- Experience in auto body repair, auto restoration, or automotive service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and insurance policies is a plus
- Excellent negotiation skills to ensure fair pricing for repairs
- Ability to analyze complex information and make accurate assessments of vehicle damage
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
