CNC Mill Set-Up Machinist

Join a small, fast-paced aerospace machine shop as a CNC Mill Set-Up Machinist. You will set up and operate assigned machines to produce complex, tight-tolerance parts and assemblies in a variety of materials. The ideal candidate is motivated and reliable, and who can run and inspect work efficiently, accurately, and with minimal supervision. This position is available on first and second shifts. Salary is dependent on experience, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), FSA, incentive bonuses, overtime, and flexible work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned CNC milling machines.
• Produce complex, tight-tolerance aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Run and inspect your own work for speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Support production workflow in a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC milling.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Close-tolerance machining experience.
• Ability to provide and use personal machining tools.
• Flexible, self-starting, motivated, and reliable approach to work.
• Team-oriented work style.
