Automotive Parts Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Parts Person to join our reputable auto body shop. As a Parts Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by managing and coordinating all aspects of the parts department. Responsibilities:

- Manage the parts department by overseeing inventory, ordering, and receiving parts and supplies

- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including receipts, invoices, and returns

- Collaborate with the service technicians to identify and source the necessary parts for repairs and maintenance

- Process parts and returns efficiently and accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, ensuring that all parts are properly labeled and stored

- Utilize computer systems and software to track and manage parts inventory

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and product knowledge

- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in automotive parts management or a related field is preferred

- Excellent knowledge of automotive parts and their functions

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

- Proficiency in computer systems and software related to parts management

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs) when necessary

- Valid driver's license
