Distribution Associate

Location: Covington, GA (On-site)
Pay: $16.50/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Type: Temporary (approx. 12 months)
Openings: 3
Pre-employment: Drug test required

Position Summary

The Distribution Associate supports warehouse and material distribution operations to ensure accurate, efficient shipment of products. This is a manual labor role and may include hand-stacking product from larger pallets to standard 40x48 pallets for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders (scan barcodes, pick cases, label boxes)
• Palletize completed orders (scan/retrieve/place orders on pallets)
• Use RF scanning technology to process orders accurately
• Verify order accuracy and package shipments appropriately
• Support dock/manifest duties as needed (scan pallets, operate shrink wrap)
• Assist other warehouse functions and provide backup coverage when needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1+ year of relevant warehouse/distribution experience (preferred)
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) (preferred)
• Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification
• Comfortable using an RF scanner
• Able to read/interpret basic distribution documents

Physical / Work Environment

• Frequent standing/walking and repetitive hand motions
• Regular lifting (may exceed 50 lbs in some areas)
• Warehouse environment with moderate-to-loud noise and moving equipment; possible temperature variations
