Food Production Packer - Now Hiring

Food Packer

Responsible for packing food products according to company and food safety standards to support production and shipping schedules. This role includes inspecting products, preparing packaging, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

Responsibilities

• Pack food products into containers, boxes, or packaging materials according to specifications.

• Inspect products for quality, damage, and accuracy before packing.

• Label, seal, and prepare packages for shipment.

• Operate packing equipment and hand tools as needed.

• Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.

• Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and sanitation guidelines.

• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

• Assist with palletizing and moving finished product as needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous food production or packing experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time

• Pay Rate is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 1st and 2nd Shift available

• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

• Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

• Temp-To-Hire

• Benefits after Probation period
