Test Engineer

• Department: Production Engineering Department or Service Department

• Position: Test Engineer

• Direct Manager: Production Engineering Department Manager or Service Department Manager

• Configure appropriate systems and test combinations to efficiently meet technical requirements.

• Thoroughly document test procedures and systematically analyze test results.

• Design and implement software download, pre-burn, run-in, and post-burn test processes across multiple product lines.

• Define and specify required test equipment and custom fixtures.

• Provide test-related training and technical support.

• Verify and validate new test suites and customer bundles prior to deployment.

• Plan, implement, and execute comprehensive test suites.

• Define, organize, and execute detailed testing to verify product performance and quality across various hardware and software platforms.

• Write detailed, clear error reports and defect logs.

• Author test specifications and maintain configuration management for test suites.

1. Education

• BS in Computer Science (BSCS), BS in Management Information Systems (BSMIS), or equivalent degree preferred.

2. Work Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in product function, quality, and reliability testing.

• Preferred experience testing integrated circuit devices featuring significant software components.

3. Key Skills & Competencies

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Windows.

  • Experience with Unix, C/C++, and testing within network environments.

  • Hands-on experience developing and applying software and system methodologies.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Strong sense of ownership and assertiveness with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $35.00 - $55.00
