Job Summary
CT Technologist in the healthcare setting is responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and image quality. The role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring proper patient positioning, and adhering to safety protocols to support accurate diagnoses.
Job Details
- Position Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images. Maintains patient safety and comfort during procedures. Follows clinical protocols within an acute care setting.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Radiologic Technology (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, fluoroscopy certification; minimum of 2 years of radiologic or CT imaging experience; valid licensing to submit; located in or willing to work in the specified geographic area.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, Tuesdays from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an acute care or hospital environment.
- Additional Information: The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and conclude on 01/11/2027 with a 12-hour shift pattern and one call weekend per month. Submission of certification and licensing is required for employment consideration.
