**Join Our Team as an Imaging/CT Tech!** **Job Description:** Are you ready to make a real impact on patient care? Join our dynamic team of imaging professionals and showcase your skills in producing clinical diagnostic x-ray and CT images! **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce high-quality x-ray and CT images of specified body areas per physician or radiologist direction. - Implement proper radiation protection measures to ensure patient safety. - Utilize EMR systems to generate and complete exam orders. - Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain imaging accuracy and precision. - Maintain a safe and efficient work environment: equipment checks, cleaning work areas, and monitoring temperatures. - Exhibit regular attendance by clocking in and out on schedule, minimizing unplanned time off. - Stay current with clinical competency through in-house education, learning new protocols, and equipment training. - Transport patients to and from imaging rooms. - Demonstrate proficiency in PACS systems for image release and transmission. - Execute x-ray procedures using portable machines as required. - Recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency. - Uphold company values in all interactions. - Communicate supply needs to ensure uninterrupted testing. - Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient and staff experiences. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Skills and Abilities:** - Maintain safe and effective patient care. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor. - Active listening skills to interpret patient needs. - Mentor and empower team members to achieve excellence. - Handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion. - Work independently with flexibility to adjust hours and cover shifts as needed. - Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment. - Effective time management and analytical skills for problem-solving. - Exhibit sound judgment and a team player attitude. - Continuous growth mindset for learning and applying new approaches. **Education and Experience:** - Completion of a JRCERT approved radiological training program or equivalent, required. - Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required. - Registration in R.T. and C.T. or willingness to obtain C.T. accreditation. - Current Iowa Radiologic Technologist Permit to Practice, required. - BLS certification required. **Physical Requirements/Working Environment:** - Sit an average of < 1 hour per workday. - Stand for 7-8 hours per workday. - Walk for 6-7 hours per workday. - Frequently bend/stoop and squat (20-30 times/day). - Reach above shoulder level frequently (20-30 times/day). - Ability to carry up to 50 lbs of weight as needed. - Lift heavy and awkward weights over 100 lbs as required, on demand. - Engage in repetitive actions with fine dexterity (typing, writing) nonstop (greater than 25 times/hour). **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
