Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule with every other Friday off; on weeks without Friday off, another day off will be provided during the week
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Rotate one Saturday every 6-8 weeks with a compensatory day off during the week; no holiday rotation required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Primary location in Wausau with strong potential to assist in Antigo, Rhinelander, Rapids, Merrill, Stanley, and Medford
• Mileage reimbursed at government approved rate
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Evaluate, treat, and plan patient care in accordance with Physical Therapy standards of practice
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses
• Meet productivity expectations of an average of 4.5 visits per day
• Document to meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements using NetSmart EMR
• Use laptop for point of service documentation and cell phone for GPS and communication
• Scrub colors: any color or business casual attire accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), Wisconsin state licensure, and NPI number required
• Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; knowledge equivalent to a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum experience: Home health experience required with training in adult and geriatric populations; travel experience required
