Location: Burlington, Kansas
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts for a 91-day assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Highlights:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver results in written form for medical records
- Participate in patient evaluation conferences with emphasis on discharge planning and rehabilitation continuity
- Assess and manage swallowing disorders in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Opportunity to conduct lectures and training programs for medical staff, students, and community groups
- Engage in total case management with systematic progress reporting and appropriate referrals
Requirements:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license eligible in the State of Kansas
- Rehab Level III certification required
- CPR certification required
- Experience with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorder treatment
