Warehouse Driver

Position Summary

Hybrid warehouse + delivery driver position responsible for receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and stocking product while also making timely and accurate customer deliveries. The employee will operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles, including box trucks/straight-body vehicles.

Warehouse Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Pick, pack, palletize, wrap, and stage customer orders
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, walkie rider, and other warehouse equipment 
• Use scanners to verify products and inventory
• Stock and replenish warehouse inventory
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Inspect incoming freight for damage and accuracy
• Complete required shipping/receiving paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse
• Follow company safety and hazardous-material procedures

Driving Responsibilities

• Make customer and store deliveries using company vehicles
• Drive straight-body/box trucks 
• Load and unload deliveries
• Verify orders before delivery
• Plan and follow assigned delivery routes
• Meet delivery schedules and deadlines
• Complete PODs, manifests, signatures, pictures, and return documentation
• Perform routine vehicle inspections
• Communicate delivery, traffic, customer, or safety issues
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels

MUST-HAVES

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ year truck-driving experience with a 26-ft vehicle or larger, or equivalent qualifying experience 
• Valid driver's license
• Safe/acceptable driving record
• Must remain eligible to operate a commercial motor vehicle under applicable state/federal requirements
• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment 
• Forklift certification OR willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. 
• Comfortable with physical warehouse work
• Strong customer service and communication skills
