Welder Positions

Columbia City Area | $22.00–$28.00+ per hour | 1st & 2nd Shift

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a manufacturing company in the Columbia City area, is seeking experienced MIG Welders / Fabricators to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking for competitive pay, steady work, and a long-term opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

MIG Welder / Fabricator Job Summary:

· Pay: $22.00–$28.00+ per hour, based on experience and weld test
· 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–4:00 PM
· 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
· 2nd Shift Premium: Additional $3.00/hr
· Perform MIG welding on steel components
· Use cutting torches and other welding equipment
· Perform fast-paced, high-temperature welds
· Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
· Maintain quality and production standards
· Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
· Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

MIG Welder / Fabricator Qualifications:

· Previous MIG welding experience required
· Ability to produce quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Ability to read and understand blueprints
· Cutting torch experience preferred
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
· Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced welding environment
· Must provide your own welding helmet for the weld test
