Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based role providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment to a diverse patient population.
Details
- Hospital-based occupational therapy position
- 8-hour shifts, with schedule potentially varying based on coverage needs
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited program required, Master's degree highly desired
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required in a US hospital setting
- Current Texas OT license required if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Additional Information
- Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing quality occupational therapy services
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop age-appropriate treatment plans based on physician referrals
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient treatment
- Ability to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments
- Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
- Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
