Appointment Scheduler (Bilingual - Spanish)

A leading neurology practice is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly Bilingual (Spanish/English) Appointment Scheduler / Medical Receptionist to support a busy front office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Schedule & Pay:
•    Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
•    Schedule: Monday–Friday / 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
•    Location: Long Beach, CA

Key Responsibilities:
•    Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
•    Schedule appointments and assist with patient questions and requests
•    Support front-desk workflows, including patient check-in and general reception duties
•    Assist with insurance verification and related administrative tasks
•    Provide excellent customer service to both English- and Spanish-speaking patients

Job Requirements:
•    6+ months experience in a medical front office role (scheduling, reception, check-in, insurance verification, etc.)
•    Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
•    Professional phone etiquette with strong communication and customer-service skills
•    High school diploma or equivalent (additional healthcare admin training/certs a plus)
•    Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy environment
•    Microsoft Office proficiency; EMR/EHR experience preferred
