Position: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Liberty, SC

Employment Type: Contract (Strong possibility of extension or permanent conversion)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:30 PM – 3:30 AM (4x10 schedule / 3-day weekends)

Pay Rate: $16.78 – $18.52 / hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to support the production of life-saving cardiovascular medical devices in Liberty, SC. In this role, you will work within a specialized manufacturing cell (including controlled cleanroom environments) performing precision assembly, testing, visual inspection, and packaging in accordance with strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intricate mechanical and electronic assembly of cardiovascular devices and components using microscopes, precision hand tools, adhesives, syringes, and bonding equipment.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections and precision measurements on miniature parts; execute functional unit tests using computerized test equipment.
• Maintain strict traceability and complete accurate records on production travelers, lot paperwork, and quality tracking systems.
• Clean tools and workstations per documented SOPs; handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials in designated disposal areas.
• Comply with all standard operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and facility safety protocols.
• Partner with leads and supervisors to achieve production and quality metrics, proactively reporting line issues or material replenishment needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2+ years of hands-on manufacturing/assembly experience, or relevant technical certification/degree (or substantial progress toward completion).
• High level of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to maneuver and assemble delicate, miniature components.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English; solid basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
• Comfortable utilizing electronic data collection systems and production software.
• Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom setting seated or standing for extended periods while utilizing a microscope.
