We are looking for a bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join a contract opportunity supporting a busy real estate and property organization in California. This onsite role is well suited for an HR specialist who enjoys balancing employee support, compliance, and daily administrative responsibilities in a fast-moving environment. The position partners closely with staff and leadership to help maintain smooth HR operations while delivering clear communication in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers by addressing routine HR questions and guiding them on workplace policies and procedures.
• Communicate HR information effectively in English and Spanish to support understanding across a diverse employee population.
• Coordinate the employee lifecycle process, including onboarding documentation, orientation support, status changes, and separation activities.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential personnel files and HR records within established standards.
• Assist with talent acquisition efforts by helping schedule interviews, support candidate coordination, and participate in recruitment-related activities.
• Provide support on employee relations matters, document concerns appropriately, and elevate complex issues when needed.
• Help administer benefits, timekeeping, attendance tracking, and other core HR processes to ensure timely follow-through.
• Prepare HR forms, reports, and correspondence while supporting compliance with federal, California, and local employment requirements.
• Contribute general administrative support to the HR function and assist with day-to-day operational priorities as business needs evolve.• At least 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Specialist, or comparable human resources role.
• Full fluency in both English and Spanish, including spoken and written communication.
• Hands-on knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and day-to-day human resources practices.
• Experience supporting benefits-related processes, employee inquiries, and HR documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and standard business software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain close attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment.
• Understanding of California employment practices and ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment.
