Exterior Carpenter Apprentice

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour ( Depending on Experience) 

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated Carpenters to join a team specializing in window and door installation for multi-family housing and residential new construction projects. This role involves working on active construction sites, handling materials, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring high-quality installations.

Responsibilities:

Install windows and doors in multi-family and residential new construction projects.

Unload trailers and storage units containing windows and building materials.

Carry windows and materials up multiple flights of stairs as needed.

Measure openings using a tape measure to ensure accurate installation.

Prepare openings by taping sills and applying weatherproofing materials.

Set and secure windows and doors using proper installation techniques.

Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weather resistance and proper insulation.

Operate hand tools, power tools, nailers, impact drivers, and other construction equipment.

Use boom lifts and elevated work platforms safely when required.

Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Follow construction and safety standards at all times.

Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.

For experienced candidates, independently set windows, operate lifts, and potentially lead crews.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Shakopee, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
