Forge Operator / Production Worker

Hermitage, PA | Direct Hire | Long-Term Opportunity

We are hiring Forge Operators / Production Workers to join a well-established metals manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with industrial or manufacturing experience, as well as mechanically inclined individuals who have demonstrated strong work history and reliability.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00/hour

Additional Earnings:

• Profit-sharing incentive averaging approximately $7.00/hour extra
• Perfect attendance bonuses
• Overtime opportunities

Available Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 5pm - 5am on 4 day on 4 day off rotation

Responsibilities

• Operate forge and production equipment
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Monitor production processes and identify equipment issues
• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

QualificationsRequired

• Previous manufacturing, production, or industrial experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Dependable work history with solid tenure in previous positions
• Ability to work scheduled overtime as needed

Preferred

• Forge operation experience
• Overhead crane experience
• Forklift experience
• Experience in steel manufacturing, foundries, forging, metals production, or other heavy industrial environments

Direct forging experience is a plus, but it is not required. Candidates without forge experience will be considered if they have strong industrial experience, mechanical aptitude, and a proven track record of reliability and job stability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hermitage, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
