Job Summary
CT Technologist Location unspecified. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures in adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency department, and Level I trauma settings. The position requires a seasoned professional with specialized skills in imaging and contrast media, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging during night shifts.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support), State license with a minimum of 2 years of experience, active IL state license (or in process with ETA), and prior experience in adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency department, or trauma settings.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/18/2027.
- Responsibilities: Performing a variety of CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head with contrast, vascular imaging, and specialized procedures such as coronary CTA. Expertise in 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and venipuncture is required.
- Certifications: ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner charting system, trauma level I experience, and prior involvement in adult acute care or outpatient settings.
- Additional Information: Candidate will float within scope to meet facility needs; no on-call required; RTO restrictions to be discussed with management. Submission of SSN and DOB at the time of application is necessary, along with confirmation of compliance and licensing.
