Registered Nurse Job Requirements\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submittal
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
\n
• Travel nurse experience preferred
\n
• Community hospital experience required
\n
• Epic charting experience required
\n
• Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
\n
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care, IV therapy, dysrhythmia recognition, blood product administration, and procedural sedation monitoring
\n
• Ability to complete onboarding requirements promptly, including core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
\n

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients of all ages in a busy emergency department
\n
• Assess, triage, stabilize, and monitor patients presenting with acute illness or injury
\n
• Administer IV medications, blood products, vasopressors, and other emergency interventions as indicated
\n
• Support care for ventilated patients, stroke alerts, trauma cases, and other high-acuity presentations
\n
• Assist with continuous monitoring, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including respiratory services, radiology, and interpretation services
\n
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic while maintaining excellent communication with the care team
\n
