CT Technician

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech to join our Fort Myers team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation techniques and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.

Duties

• Conduct CT scans as per Physician orders, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Educate patients about the CT scanning process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in compliance with medical protocols.
• Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology.

Requirements:

• Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to CT imaging.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Experience working with oncology patients a plus.
• Ability to operate CT machines efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
