Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Schedule: Full Time
Pay: $48–$58 per hour, based on experience
Charlotte Bay Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is passionate about helping residents regain independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve their individualized therapy goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
Provide occupational therapy interventions designed to improve functional abilities, mobility, coordination, and independence with activities of daily living.
Help residents regain or maintain independence with dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, transfers, and other daily activities.
Monitor and document resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with nursing, physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals, progress, and strategies to support continued improvement.
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations and professional standards.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Current and valid Florida Occupational Therapist license.
Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
