Inpatient Coder II

Requirements:

• 2+ years IP Coding experience with DRG reimbursement knowledge
• EPIC & 3M with CAC (willing to train, but a plus if applicant has both)
• Production: 2/hour at 95% accuracy

Common specialties include: a lot of cardiology & cath-lab, OB, nursery, psych, ortho, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, cardiovascular (surgical & cath-lab), IV neuro. They don’t do any transplants or burns.

State specific requirements: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia

Client offers at least one hour of on-the-clock training every month for CEUs, with additional modules and webinars available for code updates.
