About the Employer
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Ground Crew Members to join our growing tree care team in Newberg, Oregon. This position plays a critical role in supporting tree removal, trimming, pruning, and general site cleanup operations.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive job site. Previous tree service or landscaping experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Assist tree climbers and equipment operators during tree removal and trimming projects.
- Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, blowers, and other landscaping or tree service equipment.
- Drag, stack, and dispose of brush, limbs, and debris.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials throughout the workday.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Prior experience in tree services, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor is a plus but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., and occasionally more with assistance.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and uneven terrain.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment after training.
- Reliable transportation and ability to consistently report to work by 6:45 AM.
- Previous experience in tree services, landscaping, construction, forestry, or general labor is preferred but not required.
