Ecommerce Specialist

SUMMARY: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ecommerce Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to scale our ecommerce growth through accurate product data, digital merchandising, order management, and responsive partner support. Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining PDPs, monitoring inventory feeds, managing orders across EDI and partner portals, supporting day-to-day account management for key ecommerce partners, and assisting with regular reporting and analysis. This dynamic role involves day-to-day communication through various channels, including emails, calls, web-based platforms, and EDI interfaces. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills (macros a plus), and experience with EDI platforms—especially SPS Commerce—is highly desirable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Data & Digital Merchandising

• Develop a strong understanding of Jamie Young product
• Set up and maintain products via PIM systems and partner templates
• Implement content enhancements and SEO best practices to drive conversion
• Monitor and improve low content scores or performance gaps
• Contribute to ongoing improvements to Product Master Catalog
• Manage discontinued product removal and manage lifecycle tracking across multiple channels
• Maintain multi-level product price lists to ensure pricing accuracy
• Update promotional pricing on key marketplaces
• Audit inventory feeds (846) and ensure accurate syndication across partners

Order Management

• Monitor POs across EDI and portals; ensure acknowledgment (855), shipment confirmation (856/ASN), and invoices (810) clear with no errors
• Flag and assist with troubleshooting EDI errors with Ecom Manager / EDI Support
• Audit order imports monthly or more often during system issues to ensure all orders placed imported
• Resolve pricing discrepancies with partners at PO level and PDP level
• Manually enter orders as needed while automation is being rolled out

Account Support & Reporting

• Provide exceptional service to partners via phone, email, and web-based systems
• Respond to inquiries regarding lead times, product info, expedited requests, etc.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and operations teams
• Monthly and quarterly reporting on product and order performance

Support ad-hoc reporting and other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce and CommerceHub
• Experience with platforms such as Partner Home, ChannelGate, Fabric, Syndigo, DSCO, Mirakl
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in basic data entry and analysis.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office, with advanced skills in formulas, V/X-lookups, Pivot Tables and MACROS.
• Team player with ability to collaborate in a small, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
• Strong work ethic; reliability and problem-solving mindset

Knowledge of EDI implementation is a plus

Knowledge of AI programs, such as Claude, is a plus
