Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable, motivated Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on position involving the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of physical and electronic security equipment.

No previous security experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using basic hand tools, willing to learn, and takes pride in doing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and maintain security cameras
• Mount and install indoor and outdoor cameras
• Pull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage wiring
• Run wire through walls, ceilings, conduit, and other pathways
• Install and replace access control equipment and card readers
• Install and replace locks, cylinders, and door hardware
• Assist with electronic access control and security system installations
• Troubleshoot basic wiring, equipment, and connectivity issues
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment safely
• Read and follow basic drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work
• Work professionally at customer and job sites
• Follow company safety and security procedures

Qualifications

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply!

We will train the right person. Previous experience is helpful but not required.

• Low-voltage wiring
• Electrical work
• Construction
• HVAC
• Carpentry
• Locksmithing
• Security systems
• CCTV/video surveillance
• Access control
• Structured cabling
• IT/networking
• General maintenance or skilled trades

Training

Paid/on-the-job training may be provided to qualified entry-level candidates.

Training will include security camera installation, access control and card readers, low-voltage wiring, locks and door hardware, troubleshooting, equipment operation, and proper installation techniques.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on position. Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, work overhead, use hand and power tools, and lift/carry equipment and materials as required.
