Shift Leader - High-Volume Pizza Restaurant

We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shift Manager to join a growing quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept in Bridgeport, CT.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fast-food Shift Leader, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next step in restaurant leadership. The ideal candidate is hands-on, team-focused, and passionate about creating a positive culture while delivering fast, friendly, and consistent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restaurant team members during assigned shifts
• Provide coaching, direction, and feedback to improve team performance
• Ensure smooth execution of food preparation, service, and daily operations
• Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Assign duties and monitor team performance and attendance
• Train and develop new and existing team members
• Manage cash handling, cash drawers, and deposits
• Support inventory management and product availability
• Follow company procedures and operational standards
• Ensure each shift meets sales, service, quality, and productivity goals
• Assist management with scheduling and other operational responsibilities as needed
• Create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Previous QSR, fast-food, or restaurant leadership experience preferred
• Experience as a Shift Leader, Shift Manager, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager is a plus
• Strong leadership and team-development skills
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Reliable, organized, and highly accountable
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Valid driver's license required
