Showroom Merchandiser/Facility Assistant

TriSupply is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to assist with maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our showroom and office facilities. This position is responsible for keeping showroom merchandise attractive, organized, properly displayed, and presentable while also performing routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas.

The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, professional environment and is able to work independently while completing assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

 Showroom Merchandising

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom appearance.
• Arrange and straighten merchandise and showroom displays.
• Assist with setting up, changing, and refreshing product displays as directed by management.
• Ensure merchandise is placed in its designated location and displayed neatly.
• Dust and clean merchandise, displays, shelving, and showroom fixtures.
• Identify damaged merchandise, displays, or fixtures and report concerns to management.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, moving, or placing showroom merchandise as needed.
• Help maintain showroom presentation standards throughout the workday.
• Assist with pricing, labeling, or signage as directed.
• Perform other showroom-related duties assigned by management.

Office & Facility Cleaning

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed.
• Dust desks, furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean and sanitize restroom sinks, toilets, counters, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Clean breakroom counters, sinks, tables, and other common surfaces.
• Clean interior windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when additional supplies are needed.
• promptly report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management.
• Follow proper procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks.
• Professional and respectful when working around employees, customers, and vendors.
• Previous merchandising, housekeeping, janitorial, retail, or showroom experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

This position may require the employee to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Move merchandise and cleaning supplies.
• Push or pull cleaning equipment.
• Safely use step stools or ladders when necessary.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, with heavier items requiring assistance when appropriate.

Work Environment

The employee will work in a showroom, office, restroom, breakroom, and other facility areas. The position requires regular interaction with cleaning products and routine movement throughout the facility.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position, with days and hours determined by TriSupply based on business and facility needs. The employee is expected to report to work as scheduled and notify management promptly when unable to report for a scheduled shift.

• Report hazards, damaged merchandise, maintenance concerns, or supply shortages promptly.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned based on business needs.
