Maintenance Technician

A manufacturing company in Macomb County, MI is looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct-hire opportunity with benefits starting Day 1, competitive pay, 401(k), PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC and industrial manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
• Work with PLCs including Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi
• Troubleshoot equipment using multimeters, electrical schematics, and mechanical prints
• Work with CNC electrical components including relays, contactors, fuses, transformers, wiring, ProfiBus, and ProfiNet
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic/air logic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
• Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications
• Work independently to diagnose equipment failures and get machinery back up and running

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of CNC maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Mitsubishi PLCs
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints
• Experience using multimeters and other troubleshooting equipment
• Knowledge of CNC electrical components and controls
• Experience with hydraulic systems
• Experience with pneumatic/air logic systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
