The Video Monitor oversees surveillance of an industrial site during rotating shifts, monitoring camera feeds and access activity to identify incidents, support timely emergency response, and maintain accurate operational records. This role reports to the Operations Manager and Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities

• Monitor video feeds and camera surveillance across the industrial site.
• Detect and assess incidents, suspicious activity, and access-related concerns.
• Escalate alerts by contacting emergency services, notifying security personnel, and informing a supervisor.
• Monitor access activity and review footage as needed.
• Log activities, incidents, alerts, and response actions accurately.
• Prepare incident and surveillance reports.
• Support emergency response procedures across rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CCTV systems and video management systems.
• Knowledge of surveillance monitoring, incident reporting, and access control.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Effective written communication skills.
