Litigation Paralegal

Location: San Diego, California
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite following onboarding)
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 DOE

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing litigation-focused law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its San Diego team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters, collaborate closely with attorneys, and play a meaningful role in all phases of case management.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive litigation professional who can independently manage substantive responsibilities while supporting a busy and collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation.
• Draft and manage written discovery, document productions, and litigation correspondence.
• Prepare chronologies, factual summaries, and case-related reports.
• Conduct document review and assist with e-discovery projects.
• Coordinate subpoenas, records collection, witness files, and deposition preparation.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and litigation databases.
• Support mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation efforts.
• Track billable and non-billable time accurately and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience; candidates with more extensive experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management practices.
• Experience handling discovery, document production, subpoenas, and legal document review.
• Exceptional organizational, writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Employment litigation experience.
• Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Logikcull, Concordance, or similar tools.
• Trial preparation and trial support experience.
• Familiarity with legal research tools and public-record research.
• Experience mentoring or coordinating workflow among legal support staff.
