Practice & Cases

• 100 percent inpatient cardiothoracic surgery
• Surgical first assist and perioperative patient management
• Chest tube insertion, suture removal, and endoscopic retrieval
• Preoperative exams, rounding, testing, and coordination of care

Schedule

• Night and weekend call coverage
• Weekday call may also be available
• Weekend responsibilities include patient rounding and subsequent call
• Coverage continues until a permanent clinician is hired

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant
• Board certification required
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• ACLS and BLS required with at least three years of cardiothoracic surgery experience

• Mileage is covered
• Airfare, lodging, and rental car are not provided
