Maitz Home Services is a trusted leader in HVAC and Plumbing services, and we're growing again! We're looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team in Allentown, PA. If you enjoy helping customers, solving scheduling challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

Available Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, and Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• One Sunday per month: 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Sunday shift is performed remotely following training
• Total: Approximately 32 hours per week

Position Overview

As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring our HVAC and Plumbing technicians are scheduled efficiently and our customers receive an outstanding service experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC Service and Plumbing Technicians
• Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Answer incoming calls from existing customers and provide exceptional service
• Accurately enter and manage service ticket information
• Create dispatch numbers for parts orders
• Monitor and follow up on parts orders
• Schedule installation appointments for ordered parts
• Coordinate with technicians and team members to ensure timely service delivery

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Minimum of 2 years of office or customer service experience
• Dispatch experience preferred
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service mindset
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and schedule work proactively
• Quick problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Ability to learn dispatching, scheduling, and customer management software
