Quoting Specialist | The Ponds Agency - Farmers Insurance

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced insurance office?

The Ponds Agency is looking for an Insurance Quoter to help turn customer inquiries into accurate, timely quotes. In this role, you’ll gather information, review coverage needs, prepare quotes, and support the sales team as they follow up with prospective customers.

What Will I Do?

• Respond to warm, inbound leads provided by the agency.
• Speak with prospective customers to gather the information needed for a quote.
• Review current coverage and identify details that may affect available options.
• Prepare accurate quotes for products such as Auto, Home, Renters, RV, Commercial, Umbrella, Pet, and Life, as your licensing and agency training allow.
• Explain quote details clearly and answer basic questions about coverage and pricing.
• Follow up to obtain missing information and keep quote requests moving.
• Share completed quotes and customer notes with the sales team for timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records in agency systems and follow agency procedures, carrier guidelines, and applicable insurance regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• An active Texas Property & Casualty license; a Life & Health license is a plus.
• Insurance quoting experience or a strong background in customer service, sales support, or detail-focused administrative work.
• Comfort speaking with customers and asking clear questions to gather information.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple quote requests.
• Confidence learning carrier systems and following established processes.
• Dependability, consistent follow-up, and a willingness to learn from feedback.
• A team-focused attitude and a genuine interest in helping customers find coverage that fits their needs.
