Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Endoscopy to support a leading healthcare organization in West Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Endoscopy RN who enjoys a fast-paced outpatient procedural environment and is looking for a consistent weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient Endoscopy department.

   

• Independently circulate routine and advanced endoscopic procedures while maintaining patient safety and dignity.

   

• Support diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy.

   

• Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and provide appropriate post-procedure recovery care.

   

• Complete accurate procedural and clinical documentation.

   

• Manage and properly handle specimens according to established protocols.

   

• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent GI cases.

   

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and nursing staff.

   

• Support efficient patient throughput and on-time procedural flow.

   

• Maintain a high standard of infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical excellence.

   

• Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

   

• Perform other duties as assigned.

   

Qualifications

• Current Compact or Texas RN License required.

   

• BLS - AHA required.

   

• ACLS - AHA required.

   

• Minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant nursing experience.

   

• Recent Endoscopy experience required.

   

• Experience with Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS procedures.

   

• Experience with moderate sedation monitoring, recovery, procedural documentation, and specimen management.

   

• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

   

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

   

• Epic experience preferred.

   

• Must successfully complete required drug and nicotine screening.

   

• Must be able to work in a non-smoking facility.
