Pay Rate:

• Travel: $1,600–$1,730/week

• Local: $1,500–$1,620/week

Job Description:
Provide nursing care to geriatric behavioral health patients in a short-term acute care hospital. Responsible for patient assessments, medication management, milieu management, documentation, safety, and collaboration with the behavioral health team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and monitor changes in condition.

• Administer and manage medications.

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient milieu.

• Complete accurate clinical documentation.

• Monitor and report behavioral or clinical changes.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

• Provide patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Behavioral Health RN experience.

• Behavioral Health experience in a Short-Term Acute Care Hospital.

• Experience must be in a non-psychiatric facility.

• Geriatric Psych experience required.

• Milieu management experience required.

• Medication management experience required.

• Patient assessment and clinical documentation experience.

• AHA BLS or client BLS required.

• Active Ohio RN or Compact RN license in hand at submission.

• Pending license not accepted.
