Mountain View Funeral Home is looking for a Maintenance to join our team in Lakewood, WA where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. Our maintenance teams take pride in maintaining our grounds with attention to detail and tradition, ensuring every family’s unique experience is honored.

Responsibilities

• General Facility Maintenance, including :
  • Cleans and maintains the facility, performs minor repairs, painting, etc.
  • Vehicle and equipment washing/cleaning
• Groundskeeping, including:
  • Cuts grass.
  • Maintains lawn and trims around trees, walkways, and memorial markers
  • Removes wilted floral arrangements
  • Blows leaf and grass
  • Edges with stick edger
  • Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in a safe condition.
  • Cleans ponds and fountains
  • Hand digs/trenching
  • Empties trash cans
• Pressure washing parking areas as needed

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• Valid drivers license
• 6+ months experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials

Compensation range of $18.50-19.50/hr.
