Automation Specialists - EPMS

About the Role

Albireo Energy is hiring Automation Specialist – EPMS I's to join our Mission Critical team. If you have a background in electrical, controls, or instrumentation and want to build a career in one of the fastest-growing trades in construction — data center power monitoring — this is your entry point. You'll learn from experienced technicians and engineers on active projects from day one.

What You'll Do 

• Assist with wiring verification and point-to-point continuity checks on power meters and EPMS field devices. 

• Support network bring-up activities under direction of senior technicians. 

• Assist with startup tasks for EPMS field devices. 

• Maintain field markups and assist with daily project reports. 

• Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks. 

• Maintain company tools, test equipment, materials, and company vehicle(s). 

• Complete assigned OEM and internal training as part of your career growth plan.

Requirements

What You'll Bring 

• 0–2 years of experience in electrical, controls, or instrumentation preferred — entry-level candidates encouraged to apply. 

• Associate degree or vocational training preferred but not required. 

• Basic understanding of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams. 

• OSHA-10 and NFPA 70E training preferred — ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. 

• Self-starter attitude: inquisitive, reliable, and eager to learn. 

• Familiarity with basic computer skills and MS Office.
